Dhaka Bank Limited has declared 25 percent stock dividend for the shareholders for the year 2007. The dividends were announced at the 13^th Annual General Meeting of the bank held in the Plenary Hall, Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Center on April 21, 2008.

Mr. Khondoker Monir Uddin, Chairman of the Bank presided over the meeting. The Bank earned an operating profit of Tk 2,010 million in 2007 as against Tk 1,183 million in 2006 registering an increase of 70 percent. To strengthen the capital base of the bank, capital adequacy ratio was substantially increased to 10.36 percent in the year 2007 from 9.43 percent in 2006.

Vice Chairman Mr. Altaf Hossain Sarker, Directors Mr. Abdul Hai Sarker, Mr. ATM Hayatuzzaman Khan, Mr. Mohammad Hanif, Mr. Md. Amirullah, Mr. Tahidul Hossain Chowdhury, Mr. MNH Bulu, Managing Director Shahed Noman and Acting Company Secretary Mr. JQM Habibullah were present among others.
