As a part of the corporate social responsibility Dhaka Bank Foundation has provided Taka 1.2 Million as donation in the year 2007 to Bangladesh Institute of Research and Rehabilitation in Diabetes, Endocrine & Metabolic Disorders (BIRDEM) as a gesture of humanitarian consideration for the dialysis treatment of the financially needy persons. Mr. Mohammed Hanif, Vice Chairman, Dhaka Bank Limited formally handed over this donation to Professor A. K. Azad Khan, President, Diabetic Association of Bangladesh on July 8, 2008 at BIRDEM Conference Center.
