Dhaka Bank Foundation donated Taka 2 (Two) Crore to Bangladesh Kidney Foundation for establishing its Dialysis Unit as a part of the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility activities. In this regard a formal ceremony was held at Bangladesh Kidney Foundation Hospital, Road 8, House 6, Dhanmondi, Dhaka-1209 at 4 PM, on Wednesday, 3rd December 2008. In this ceremony, the cheque was handed over to the authority of the Kidney Foundation.

Major General (Dr.) A.S.M Matiur Rahman (Rtd.), Former Advisor, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare kindly consented to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Mr. Reshadur Raman, Chairman, Executive Committee of Dhaka Bank Foundation was present as Special Guest. Among others, Mr. Altaf Hossain Sarker, Chairman, Mr. Abdul Hai Sarker, Founder Chairman, Mr. ATM Hayatuzzaman Khan, Former Chairman, Mr. Mohammad Abu Musa, Managing Director (Current Charge) of Dhaka Bank Limited were also present at the occasion.
