Dhaka Bank Limited has appointed Credit Rating Information and Services Limited (CRISL) for Credit Rating of the Bank for the year ended December 31, 2008. The Dhaka Bank is a second-generation bank in the country and is performing above average compared to its peer group.

In this connection an Agreement Signing Ceremony was held on January 22, 2009 at the Bank’s Board Room. The Agreement was signed by Mr. Muzaffar Ahmed FCMA, FCS, President & CEO of CRISL and Mr. Mohammad Abu Musa, Managing Director (Current Charge) of the Dhaka Bank Limited in a simple ceremony.

Among others, Mr. Tanweer Rahim, Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Kaiser Tamiz Amin, Deputy Managing Director, Mr. MM Haikal Hashmi, SEVP & Head of Credit & Re-Engineering, Mr. Arham Masudul Huq, Company Secretary, Mr. Darashiko Khasru, Vice President and Head of Finance and Accounts Division, Mr. Azam Khan, First Assistant Vice President, Dhaka Bank Limited, Mr. Md. Abdul Wadud Khan, Vice President and Mr. Khan Abdus Sobhan, General Manager, CRISL were also present on the occasion.
