Mr. Khondker Fazle Rashid, a professional banker joined Dhaka Bank Limited on February 24, 2009 as Managing Director. Prior to his joining he was Managing Director of The Premier Bank Limited.

After completing Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, Mr. Rashid started his career with Sonali Bank Limited in February 1978 as Probationary Officer where he worked till May 1982.

He also worked with AB Bank Limited from May 1982 to December 1999 and during the time of leaving he was Senior Vice President & Manager of Mumbai Branch of AB Bank Limited. He also served with Southeast Bank Limited as Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Credit Division from January 2002 to June 2003. Before joining Premier Bank as Managing Director he worked with Dhaka Bank Limited as Deputy Managing Director from June 2003 to September 2007.

Mr. Rashid is Vice Chairman of Association of Bankers Bangladesh Limited and a Life Member of IBA Alumni Association. He attended various workshops, training programs, seminars at home and abroad.
