Dhaka Bank Limited donated a school bus to BN Ashar Alo School and Rehabilitation Center, a specialized school for autistic children run by the Bangladesh Navy Family Welfare Association (BNFWA), as part of the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Chairman of the Bank Mr. Reshadur Rahman handed over the key of the bus to Begum Shabnam Ahmed, President, BNFWA at a simple ceremony in Chittagong on May 8, 2012. Chief of the Naval Staff Vice Admiral Zahir Uddin Ahmed, (ND), ndc, psc, Dhaka Bank Directors Mr. Mohammed Hanif, Mr. Tahidul Hossain Chowdhury, former Chairman and sponsor shareholder Mr. A.T.M. Hayatuzzaman Khan, Additional Managing Director Mr. Niaz Habib, BNFWA Chairman Begum Syeda Tahsina Ahmed, Principal of Ashar Alo Aouana Margia and high officials of both organizations were present at the occasion.
