Half Yearly Business Review Meeting for Branch Managers of Dhaka Bank Limited (DBL) was held on Saturday July 29, 2006 at Radisson Water Garden Hotel, Dhaka. Mr. Shahed Noman, Managing Director of DBL presided over the meeting. While Mr. Abdul Hai Sarker, Mr. ATM Hayatuzzaman Khan, Former Chairmen, Mr. Reshadur Rahman, Mr. Md. Amirullah and Mr. Mainul Islam, Former Directors & Sponsor Shareholders, Mr. Khondker Fazle Rashid, Mr. Mohammad Abu Musa, Deputy Managing Directors, Divisional Heads and other senior executives of Dhaka Bank Limited also present in the meeting.

Meeting reviewed the performance of the first six months of 2006 with an eye to minimization of cost of deposit and maximum recovery with a view to achieve zero classification, the meeting exhorted the respective branches with their business targets to attain their individual targets by the end of this year. Putting special stress on collective effort for the achievement of the target, the participants expressed their determination to achieve it in time.
