Only ten out of six thousand two hundred and seventy six Branch Managers have been selected as ‘the best’ in the banking sector of Bangladesh for the year 2006, evaluated by the bank’s management concerned. The initiative was taken in January by the Weekly The Industry for honoring the best branch managers of 49 banks of the country. Accordingly as per invitation of selection only 9 Banks have answered confirming of having quality Manager by virtue of performance. Among them Mr. Neaz Mohammad Khan, Executive Vice President & Manager of Dhaka Bank Limited, Foreign Exchange Branch was selected as Best Manager.

In this connection an award giving ceremony was organized on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at Hotel Purbani International. Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs was the Chief Guest while Professor Md. Rezaul Karim, State Minister for Liberation War Affairs and Mr. Barkatulla Bulu, Advisor for Women and Children Affairs were also present on the occasion.
