Hathazari Branch of
Dhaka Bank starts operation

Hathazari Branch, 30th branch of Dhaka Bank Limited has commenced its operation at Nazirhat Road, Hathazari, Chittagong from September 11, 2006.

Al-haj Syed Wahidul Alam MP, Whip, National Parliament, formally inaugurated the branch through a simple ceremony, as the Chief Guest. Mr. Abdullah Al Ahsan, Mr. Tahidul Hossain Chowdhury, Mr. Jashim Uddin, Former Directors of Dhaka Bank Limited were also present on the occasion as Special Guests. Mr. M A Hashem MP, Mr. Abdul Hai Sarker, Former Chairman, Mr. Khondker Fazle Rashid, Deputy Managing Director were also spoke on the occasion.

Among others, Mr. M A Sabur, Former Chairman, UCBL, Mr. Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury, Chairman, Janata Insurance Company Limited, Mr. Reshadur Rahman, Altaf Hossain Sarker, Former Directors and Sponsor Shareholders, Mr. Arham Masudul Huq, Company Secretary of Dhaka Bank Limited, Chairman and Managing Directors of different industrial and commercial undertakings, elite of the society and many other invited guests were present on the occasion.
