Dhaka Bank Limited, one of the leading private commercial bank of the country, has recently received SAFA Award 2005 for their published Accounts & Reports. South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), an apex body of SAARC, awarded Merit Certificate to Dhaka Bank Limited in the category of Banking Sector subject to Prudential Supervision for best-published accounts & reports.

Deputy Managing Director of Dhaka Bank Limited Mr. Khondker Fazle Rashid received the award from Mr. Indrajith Fernando, President, South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) at a Ceremony organized at Colombo, Sri Lanka on January 16, 2007. Mr. Fermin Del Valle, President, International Federations of Accountants (IFAC) was also present on the occasion.

Dhaka Bank has also been bagging the prestigious national award for the best- published annual accounts and reports from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) for the year 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005.

Dhaka Bank also receives CSR Award 2005 sponsored by Standard Chartered and The Financial Express, International Star Quality Award 2005, Dhaka City Beautification Award 2006, Human Rights Award 2006.
