Dhaka Bank Dual Currency VISA card has been launched through an unveiling ceremony held at a local hotel on the 7th of March 2007.

Mr. Shahed Noman, Managing Director of Dhaka Bank, unveiled the card. Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Khondker Fazle Rashid and Mr. Mohammad Abu Musa were present on the occasion.

Among others, Mr. Golam Hafiz Ahmed, Senior Executive Vice President, Mr. Arham Masudul Huq, Company Secretary, Mr. Muhammad H. Kafi, Senior Vice President & Head of IT, Mr. M. Imdadul Islam, Senior Vice President & Head of Retail Banking, Mr. Shah A. Islam, Senior Assistant Vice President (Cards), Mr. Azam Khan, Assistant Vice President (Public Relations), Mr. Maruf Alam, Senior Vice President, BEPS, were also present.

In his welcome speech, Mr. Noman highlighted Dhaka Bank’s focus on the retail segment of the banking industry and the Bank’s commitment to provide superior service to its customer through the use of modern technology.
