2nd Dhaka Bank Independence Day Inter-club Tennis Tournament 2007 begins at Dhaka Club from 19th March 2007 under the auspices of Dhaka Bank. Mr. Salim Bhuiyan, President, Dhaka Club Limited and Mr. Abdul Hai Sarker, Founder Chairman, Dhaka Bank Limited jointly inaugurated the tournament amidst fun and festivity. Among others, Mr. ATM Hayatuzzaman Khan, Former Chairman, Mr. Shahed Noman, Managing Director, Mr. Golam Hafiz Ahmed, Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Marketing, Mr. Arham Masudul Huq, Company Secretary, Dhaka Bank Limited, Presidents, Members of the Executive Committee and players from the participating clubs were present at the inaugural ceremony.

Dhaka Club took the initiative to organize this prestigious tournament to commemorate the forthcoming Independence Day and to develop camaraderie among the participating Club. Final Match would be held on Independence Day 26th March 2007.
